We are committed to handling your information with the same care and discretion we bring to every search we run.
Who we are
Gowlink is a boutique executive search firm based in London, United Kingdom. We are the controller of any personal data submitted through this website. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Your name, email address, phone number and current role/firm
- The CV you choose to upload (PDF, DOC or DOCX)
- The free-text answers you provide in our briefs and contact form
- Any LinkedIn URL or other professional links you share
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and we do not run third-party analytics on this site.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange an initial conversation
- To assess your fit for current and future search mandates we run
- To represent you to our clients — only with your express agreement
Our lawful basis
We rely on Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract) and, for the storage and onward sharing of your CV with clients, Article 6(1)(a) (your consent). You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are sent by email to our team. Files you upload are stored securely on Vercel Blob (servers located in Europe) and accessed only by Michael and John. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
We retain submission data for up to 24 months by default, so we can match you to opportunities that emerge after your first contact. You can request earlier deletion at any time by writing to [email protected].
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, port, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to certain types of processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If we update this notice we will reflect the date of the latest revision below.
